Period 3 - Team Handball
Watch the introductory video below to get an idea of what team handball is and how it is played. We will begin our team handball unit this week. It is classified as an invasion game and as such many of the same tactics that helped you have success in hockey will help in team handball. For this week blog I want you to list for me one tactic you can use to attack the goal in team handball.

One good tactic is too rush, be very aggressive and move as quickly as possible towards the goal.

ReplyDeleteOne tactic you can use in handball is pass. You can pass to your team mate, tricking the opposing team and easily on them.
forming a triangle with your team mates is a good strategy to keep the ball away from the opposite team.

One way you can attack the opposing team is by passing a lot so that the opposing team never knows where the ball is going to go, which will hopefully leave one man open to shoot.

One tactic that can be used while attacking is the triangle. If you have 3 teammates in a triangle you can execute give-and-gos and do other quick passes to spread the defense out.
