We have finished several different fitness assessments, you should be getting an idea of where your strengths and your weaknesses lie. I have said before and will continue to hammer the point home that you can improve faster as an athlete or in your general health and fitness goals by focusing on that which you are not very good at, rather than just doing the things you like over and over.
For this weeks blog let me know what fitness test you felt was a weakness of your and you want to focus on for the rest of the semester.

I feel I can be better at the 400 meter run, push press and bench press.
ReplyDeleteThe fitness test that I felt the weakest at is the push press.
ReplyDeleteSarah Kowal
i am not very good at squating, i would lioke to improve on that and i would also like to improve my push-press and bench press weights because i am not fully satisfied with where i am weight wise in those lifts.

I think my main weakness in weight training is that I try to lift too much weight without taking into account my physical limitations. This cavalier method, if continued, could cause damage to my muscular structure. For this semester, I intend to respect my body's limitations and work towards fitness without damaging my body.
ReplyDeleteI feel I need to improve my squat and my power cleaning. I feel that if I had a better form then I could lift more weights.

my weakness is the squat because i've never really worked those muscles and i need to work on them to become more explosive an faster
ReplyDeletecole abid
my weakness is the push press. i have onlygone up 25 pounds over the course of the entire year. i think that if i improved on the explosive motion to get my head through the bar, i would have more success with this lift.
ReplyDelete-Matt Mays
My weakness is probably Push Press, after a certain weight I just cant lift the bar anymore. I think I might need to develop my shoulders a little bit because I haven't really worked them before.
ReplyDelete-Daniel Shavirin
My weakness is in shoulder strength, so just being able to get back to pullups would be fantastic.
ReplyDeleteRaphael Socher
I have weak wrist, push press, dead lift and more flexibility.
ReplyDeleteMike Chen
Weakness: Pull ups is my weakness and what I have to focus on.

My weakness is running i need to practice so i can go super fast -JAck Wright
ReplyDeletei think that my weakness is push press because i don't think i do the right form
ReplyDeleteAndy Lee
weakness - squat due to leg complications
ReplyDeleteDimitri
My weakness was the 400m run and I need to increase my stamina
ReplyDeletePatrick Chidueme
My power clean is my weakest lift. I need to increase my strength and form. My back bends too much in the clean which ruins my form and is intern detrimental to my back health and my ability to increase the weight in that lift. Additionally I think my ego is partially what is my worst aspect of all my testing. I attempt more weight than I can do especially with my dead lift and do the lift with bad form instead of less weight with good form.
