\Ok so apparently we do not know much about the defensive side of football. That's OK we will have some time during the rain to talk about it this week. For this weeks blog, we are going to focus on the offensive side of the ball. The advantage the offense has is that they know where the play is going. You give this advantage away when you do not run a play. Think about how your team runs plays. Do you run the plays you practice or do you all just go out and hope someone gets open? What works better? How can you make your offense run better?
My team does a combination of plays we have practiced and randomly run until someone is open. The plays we practiced work better then running randomly until someone is open. A way we can make our offense better is by making more plays or changing the name of some of the plays we have already made.

We have plays that we practice that have awesome names and nobody can figure out what we're doing and that works better than randomly running and hoping for the ball. We can make our offense run better by practicing our plays.

our team is generally all offense. our plays wouldn't work in an actual pro game but they work in class, and that's good enough for us. we try to practice the plays a bit and then we use them in-game. we can make our offense run better by practicing more when we aren't on the field (or court).

we do run the plays but my team needs to know when the defender is not looking at you go to an open area and i will throw it. I try to tell my team to run the plays to frun but some of them just want a touchdown and go for long. you can run the ball on offense when you see alot of people on one side and the other is wide open
ReplyDeleteOur team runs the plays we practice. The different plays we have help get people open to catch the ball. When we wait for someone to get open, the QB is usually rushed, so the different paths everyone takes lets the QB get an open throw. We can make our offense run better if we practice more.

We do the plays we made but we generally just say hey go out for a pass or run. Either one doesn't really stand out as better. We could work more on the plays
ReplyDeleteTom
We dont really agree on plays we run, the quarteback usually just has us do what he wants.
ReplyDeleteour team doesnt run the plays we normally just run out there and try to get open. the plays didnt seem to work so well so now we just try and get open to score touchdowns.
ReplyDeleteOur team does not remember some of the plays we designed. So for a pass play the QB just says pass play and the recievers run their own routes and try to get open. If we had more practice we would have been able to know the plays better and we would be a better team

We sometimes run the plays. Most of the time they dont work so we just try to get open. We could improve our plays by making better plays and practicing them more.

our team runs the plays we practiced AND sometimes just hopes for the best:) When we do the plays we practiced, we generally just do better. We could make our offense run better by coming up short for the QB. Plus, mr. kirk, i did the blogs 3 and 4

Q:Do you run the plays you practice or do you all just go out and hope someone gets open?
ReplyDeleteA:yes we run the plays
Q:What works better?
A:running the plays
Q:How can you make your offense run better?
A: use picks and watch how the defense is playing to see what would work better running or passing
The plays for the Gagas are actual plays, and each play is a specific design. Our plays seemed to work extremely well however our execution was poor in the championship game. We seemed to be able to score a lot of touchdowns.

Our plays should of gotten big yardage IF everyone executed it right. But some people don't actually listen and start to go around in circles hoping that they will get open.
ReplyDeleteWe have different plays with so the opposing team doesnt know what our strategy is.

we have many plays that we give numerous names to.It adds confusion and works better than running randomly.
ReplyDeletewe do the plays that we came up with but sometimes we ran randomly and try to get the ball. The plays work most of the time but we also change the names of the play to confuse the other teams but doing the plays it alot better then just ranning randomly in our experineces!

Do you run the plays you practice or do you all just go out and hope someone gets open?
ReplyDelete-we ran the plays
What works better?
running the plays, unless the person who is being passed to is too heavily guarded
How can you make your offense run better?
go for the least obvious spots on the field if needed

Our plays do plan an important part on our strategy because it decides who will be the one going out for a pass and ultimately, making a touchdown (which is mostly Max) . It's not good to just go out hoping somebody will get open, because what happens if nobody gets open? There's no backup plan. You can make your offense run better by making it so ridiculously complicated that the other team has absolutely no freakin' idea what you're doing and is confused beyond their mind.

We know our many plays and they are all very well done and they all work very well. Some plays we try to keep minimum so that the other team doesn't know what it is.

we run the plays all the time and never go out for a random pass. Sometimes it is better to come back for the short pass then to all run out into the end zone and hope someone makes the catch.
ReplyDeleteZach
We know our plays but they don't work too well so we just try to get open. Our offense could be made better by running to places the other team doesn't expect.
ReplyDeletethe gagas had actual plays and they worked better then just running around hoping to get the ball and score.
ReplyDelete-Danielle Margolis
our team didnt do so well so we decided just to run out there and do our best and hope that the ball came to one of us.
