Period 5 Weight Training Goals

We are getting to the end of a long series of assessments to see where you are in terms of strength and fitness. We will be starting our regular workout program soon, but first we need to set goals. Setting goals can be a challenge for some because many people set goals without first considering what they really want most out of their training. For example, programs will be very different for someone who wants to look good in a bathing suit and be as healthy as possible compared to the someone who aspires to play varsity athletics or compete an any number of sports.


For this weeks blog, let me know what you want out of your time in the weight training class. What are you working towards? Is it health and longevity, athletic aspirations, pure vanity, or anything else? Figure what you want most out of the class and let me know in this weeks blog comment. We will set your goals and your program based on that.

  4. This semester I'm really looking to increase my muscle mass. I also want to focus on my lower body so I can work toward being able to dunk before next basketball season.

  5. In this class by the end of the semester I want to have more endurance because having endurance will help me improve in soccer.

  6. It would be nice to get more upper body strength like i use to have when i was a gymnast, and learn how to prevent injuries.

  7. I hope that this class will help me to become a better athlete and in general to become stronger. I also hope to be able to be a formidable wrestler, because i want to join wrestling next year.

  14. My goal this semester is to generally become stronger with my upper body strength and to become a better athlete for Lacrosse and Cross Country. I would really love to improve my strength this semester.

    I got two goals for this semester:
    One: Achieve at least ten kipping pull ups.
    Two:Further improve my work out routines focusing on getting rid of them man-titties of mine.
