Period 7 Team Games

Basketball

We are starting basketball this week.  Just in time for March Madness.  For this weeks blog I want you to let me know your prior experience with basketball.  Do you play competitively on a rec team or with the school?  Do you play occasionally in the park or in PE class?  Do you have no idea what basketball is?  Let me know.

    I recently started a basketball team with some of my friends and we play in a rec league. We're not really competitive but we know how to play basketball, it's just not our primary sport.

    i played basketball for 3 year on a rec team, i still suck and dont play it anymore

    I play basketball occasionally with my friends after school, but i have never participated on a basketball team. I consider myself decent at the sport.

    I used to play basketball in 5th grade but now after years of not touching the ball i realize that i'm not very good but i will try my hardest to take my Jv team consisting of Me, Jason Shim, and Jordy Bretner, to victory.

    i use to play basketball on a travel team but i dont play anymore. I sometimes play pick up games with my friends though.

    I used to play basketball on a rec team until seventh grade. Ever since i stopped playing, i am terrible.

    I dont play basketball, its not really my thing, but in the summer I tend to play it occasionally. never really been on a team or anything, just do it for fun. but im terrible.

    I haven't touched the ball since the last rec game, which was in 7th grade, and, what do you know, I stll have trouble with close shots (somehow)

    A few years ago I used to play basketball like every day but then I got into soccer, so I rarely play anymore. I'm mediocre.

    From 6th-8th grade i played basketball on a team every winter. I would have continued this year too except for the fact there wasn't enough people signed up in the whole league to make one team. I consider myself pretty good at the sport, but since it has been a while since i played, i will not start out the unit well.

    I used to play basketball on rec teams for a couple years but i stopped awhile back. Now I sometimes play for fun with my friends on a hoop or in the park

    I took lessons once or twice years ago, and play it every week with friends on Friday in the lower gym. I'd say I'm decent but i have trouble bringing myself to try hard sometimes, which leads to all the inconsistencies in my performance. ERIC FAN
