Period 3 Blog #3 Football

We have teams and are working on plays, hopefully the weather will cooperate so that we can get some games played.  Each day you will have time to work with your team and practice your plays.

For this weeks blog I want you to find the strengths of your teamates.  List your teammates and one thing they do well.  It may be catching, throwing, running routes, planning plays, short receptions, deep balls, etc. In order to do this blog you need to know the names of everyone on your team. Saying things like the guy with the dark hair will not count.

  2. Team USSR Skills - Michael Stopher

Dmitry is one of the best defense mans Thomas S. Wootton has to offer. With his tall, built figure, nobody can get around him. He is pure talent. Whether its guarding our running backs, or ripping our opponents flags off, Dmitry has it all. He is the core of our team and we couldn't win a game without him.

If I had to compare Sawyer to a car, I would compare him to a Ferrari. His incredible speed is always useful when we have no choice but to do a slick handoff from the quarterback to the center. It is hard to tell where Sawyer is on the field because he travels nearly as fast as the speed of light, however, if you pay close attention, you can see his stylish flat brimmed cap catch the wind and fly off his head. This is how you can tell, Sawyer is a speedy mcgee.

Brett Rudden, where do I begin? Lacrosse star, soccer pro, handball expert, basketball aficionado, and boy oh boy, is he a wonderful quarterback or what? A total athlete. Brett is known for his strength. Don't be fooled by his quirky alias. He is a geek by day, and athlete by night. When Brett has a football in his hand, man can that kid throw. A perfect spiral, and a direct pass helps us win, game after game, leading us to the top of the chart. Watch out for that man, for he is the Tom Brady of Period 3 Football.

Logan Pawlik may look like your average Freshman... but thats the catch. Now I hate to give up our secret but its my grade on this blog that may be at stake if I don't give it up... Well, how do I put this... Logan is our magical player. He is always there to trick you. You see what most of you are thinking is, "Okay, I'll go for him, you go for him, you go for him, etc." then, your teammate says, "Whos going to guard Logan?" and then you say, "Psh, that kids a freshman, don't worry about him." AHAH!!! Thats where you're wrong. That kid man.. I tell you.. that kid can catch like no other. Behind the back? Sure. One handed? Sure. With his eyes shut? Sure. Any time we get blitzed, our quarterback can throw it, not even aiming it, and Logan will get to it and catch it. Wait, not even, Helen Keller could throw it and Logan would grab it.

Lets see, I hate to be cocky but uh... I am the nucleus of our team, I am the embryo, I am the seed of our team... Without me, our team would be almost as bad as the Miami Dolphins.. And yes, our team is full of strong-willed, quick, tough, and proficient players, however, if you ever had the opportunity to hold the USSR's playbook, you would be like Plankton holding the crabby patty secret recipe. If I am in my zone, I have this incredible brainblast causing me to create master plays that are unbeatable. Wow, just thinking of our plays makes me climax.

Fleskmeister, the fleskinator, the fleskbro, the flesky-pup 3000. Kyle Fleskes is incredible at mainly everything. But, let me cut it short for your sake.. If I had to explain Kyle in 1 word,I would say, beast.. He is a beast. I mean, the dude has never freakin' gotten his flags ripped off. How many people do you know who have done that? NONE. Just kidding, one, Kyle. Biggest bro. Love that kid. Siced.
