For this weeks blog I want you to tell me what play has been the most effective for your team. Describe the play to me and include why you think it has been effective for your team.
The play that has been effective for our team is the upside down negative giraffe. Two people run out while two run short. It's effective for our team because if the two people who go out are blocked, the tow people who go short can make a gain. It the two people in short are blocked, the people who ran long can make a touchdown pass.
Our team has a play we normally use when starting off with the ball. When we hike the ball the quarterback quickly throws it to somebody who then runs it. This is really effective for our team because the flags are hard to pull, it's easy to catch, and we have fast people on our team.
The play that is most effective on are team is where 2 people run short and cut in and 2 people run long and cut out into the end zone. This play is the most effective because there are many different pass opportunities and it is confusing for the other team
the play that has been most effective for my team is the draw. we pass the ball for 2 or 3 plays, then after a few passes, we act like we are going to throw it again, but we run it. this leaves the other team of gaurd, and we usually get a touchdown.
One of our team's best plays includes a Hail Mary type route where we all simply go long. AJ has the arm and accuracy to make it work and the people on our team are all good enough receivers to catch the ball.
On the virginia team our most effective play is "Everyone Go Deep" and The secret play. the secret play is when everyone lines up on one side then one person comes around and gets the toss then become sthe qb. then the old qb becomes a wr n runs a route and the new qb throws it trevon diggs
The most effective play that we do is where the qb throws a quick pass to someone, and then we lateral it to Trevon and he runs it into the end zone. This is the most effective play because every time we run it we always score. ~Luke Roepe
I think the most effective play we have is when 2 receivers run deep and 2 run slants to the middle, the defense is spread out and the QB has many options making it an effective play. Sophia Hussein
the most efective play is when we lateral the ball. This is the most effective play becasue no one knows what is going on. Ian hands it off to me and i lateral it back to him and he does the same thing. Then i get the ball and toss it to skyy and he runs it in for the touchdown. This play only works 10% of the time because we cant catch but it is are only good play. ~Diego Arana
The most effective is what we called "The BP oil spill", it when everyone falls on the ground and then when the other team is so shocked we do a running play or a long pass, depending on the situation Kyle fleskes
The Star play has been the best because it confuses teh opponent and makes it easier for us to catch the ball. It involves running circles around your person so they cant reach you, then the ball comes your way
The most effective play for us is a quick pass across the middle of the field. It has been our most effective play because it has a very high completion percentage since it is such a short pass and we can gain a lot of yards because when the receiver is running with the ball it is hard for the other team to pull your flags.
The most effective play for us is when we send 2 people on go's down the sideline, one person stays short if the play breaks down and the last player runs a down and in. This play is so effective because we usually run it on first down and when we have 2 people going long on first down it takes the defense by surprise allowing us to score fast. ~Drew Lind #DeceptiveArmadillos

Great question coach. I have a very effective play that I am sure that you will like. The play is a little bit sneaky, but that's quite alright. When my team gains possession of the ball, we quickly get in position, quietly say hike, then do a hand off. This causes the other team to think that we just changes quarter backs. What I do next, is pretend like I'm going to throw the ball as if I'm QB, then run as fast as I can and score a touchdown. This confuses the other players, gets an open streak in the field for me to run, while everybody else is guarding somebody who they think is going to get the ball... HAHA very sneaky isn't it.
One of our more effective plays is a running play when our QB fakes a hand-off, and then pitches to someone who runs down the opposite side of the field from the first person. Even if we don't score a touchdown, this play is more reliable at moving us down the field than a passing play.
Our most effective play is when the QB throws the ball down to the endzone where either Treyvon or Matten is waiting to catch it. While the QB throws, the rest of the team is running straight or running a slant so that the other team thinks that the QB is going to make a short pass instead of a long pass.
we have a play that everyone goes to the left and one person goes to the right. when multiple people go to the left, the defense goes there too, leaving the right side open for the one receiver.
our best play is the flea flicker when all the recivers on our team stand on one side and one person audibles to the other side and the quarterback throws it back to him and he throws it long.
Our most effective play is when the quarterback makes a quick short pass to someone who then runs towards the end zone. This is effective because we have a lot of fast people on our team. It also helps gain a lot of yards. -Jason Jiang pd. 3
The most effective play for our theam was noodle. In this play, the quarterback makes a short pass to our teammate and everyone else run in different directions. I think this play was effective because it tricks other people because the quarterback makes a quick pass and everyone else is opened in different areas so it'll be easier for our teammate to pass.

The play that has been most effective for my team is called PP Touch. It is where the center runs a little 5 yard hook, the two lineman/ends run post crossing routes on each side, adn then the two WRs run long bombs. I feel this is effective because it spreads the field out with short, mid, and long pass threats.
The most effective play for us was the double stop and go. Each receiver on either side runs, hesitates and turns around, and then runs back forward while the defender goes for the fake. Chances are one of the two defenders will fall for the fake.
While long passes help us get the most yardage, i believe that runs have been the most consistent way of scoring for us. Especially when combined with fakes and lateral passes
My teams most effective play is when the qb does a discreet hand off and the runs and the person with the ball pretends to be qb for a little bit then runs.
my team runs a play when all of the wrs run down the field except for one and then i just dump the ball off to that player and he runs for major yardage. AJ Gorsky
The most eective play was handoff. This way we could move up closer to the "down" line of our opponent. Then we could long pass. This would make the game much easier.

ReplyDeleteThis is effective for my team because we moved up faster saving time.
