We are starting our hockey season today. Hockey is a great sport that combines the need for coordination with the need to be fit. Based on the physical nature of our basketball season, I am a bit concerned about the hockey season. We need to enact some rules in order to keep everyone safe and keep the games fun.
For this weeks blog, I want you to think of two rules that will help make the hockey unit more enjoyable for all. Let me know what they are and be sure to include your name in your comment.
1.) No hitting people with sticks
ReplyDelete2.)No checking
we should allow high sticks, and we should have last second shootouts

ReplyDelete-One rule is hooking

ReplyDeleteno taking slapshots where the stick goes above your waste, and no pushing
Trevor Kern
ReplyDelete1.) No raising the blade of your hockey stick above waste-level.
2.) No extreme and intentional physical contact
We need to not do high sticking because that can injure someone or hit them in the face. Also, we need to not play shoe basketball because you can get your shoes stuck in the rafters. But really, don't go so hard that you hurt someone with the stick in your hand and be careful.
