Period 5 Your Final Exam!

I have enjoyed working with all of you this semester. It is my goal in each class to make learning about health, fitness, and sport enjoyable. I hope I was able to do that this past semester. I am always looking for ways to improve the experience for the next group of students. For your final exam, and it will count as a blog grade, I want you to answer the following questions. Answer them truthfully as I am only grading on completion and you will not be penalized for telling the truth. I want to know how you truly feel. I would appreciate it if you took the time to provide thoughtful responses, rather than rushing through just to complete the assignment.

1. What did you like the most about physical education class?

2. What did you like the least?

3. How did you feel about the blog assignments?

4. If you could change anything about physical education, what would it be?

Thanks for your effort this semester and I hope you consider taking another P.E. sometime in the future.

Have a great second semester!
Mr. Kirk

  2. yay fist comment! anyway i loved all the sports we played. however, i didnt like how some of the were way too short and some way too long. The blogs are fun but really easy to forget. if i could change anything, it would be to balance the lenth of the sports.

  4. 1. Hockey, any team-based (more than 2) sport

    2. Some units were too short, some too lone

    3. Easier way to do homework - too easy to forget paperwork for sports-oriented phys. ed. classes

    4. Maybe a required poll at the beginning of the year/semester to determine units? (Some units were unpopular with lots of people, e.g. volleyball)

  20. 1. Badmitten might be the greatest sport ever invented. I also enjoyed the long and irrelevant tangents Mr Long is just so excellent at. Lastly, you guys once performed a Jay and Silent Bob impression, that was pretty golden.
    2. That kid Trey who constantly makes noise. Sometimes I would walk out of gym seriously frustrated with him. He's like a 4 year old
3.The blog is actually pretty awesome. Easy to forget, but awesome nonetheless.
4.Not sure. Honestly, I think you guys did a really good job. Maybe a skateboarding unit? Is that stupid and unrealistic? Probably. Thanks for everything Mr. Long and Mr. Kirk. You made it much easier on the seniors who take gym. Have a good one!
